SOMEWHERE ALONG THE NYLON STOCKING

A new morning has broken in the City of Nylon Stockings. The small person in the house in the lower right corner of the picture is about to visit his friend by the palmtree for the first time. Itīs obvious to us, because we have a birdīs perspective on this, that the whole city is built on the structure of many nylon stockings put together, but for the fantasy people in Carin Ellbergīs piece "Sunrise" at Andrehn-Schiptjenko Gallery in Stockholm thatīs not commmon knowledge.
Maybe this guy is disoriented, like me in the garden above, and havenīt figured out the zigzag pattern yet. But if he does, he will immediately get a sense of place and direction and grasp the whole city structure at once.
